Managing Jobs

Jobs are the work you and your team perform for customers. This guide covers how to create, schedule, and manage jobs in Procured.

Creating a Job

From Scratch

  1. Go to Jobs > Create Job
  2. Select a client
  3. Add job details (title, description, location)
  4. Set the schedule
  5. Assign team members
  6. Click Save

From an Accepted Quote

  1. Open an accepted quote
  2. Click Convert to Job
  3. Review and adjust details as needed
  4. Set the schedule and assignments
  5. Click Create Job

Job Details

Each job includes:

  • Client - Who the work is for
  • Location - Where the work takes place
  • Description - What needs to be done
  • Schedule - When the work is scheduled
  • Assignments - Who is doing the work
  • Status - Current state of the job

Scheduling Jobs

Setting a Date and Time

  1. Open the job
  2. Click on the schedule section
  3. Select the date
  4. Choose start and end times
  5. Save changes

Using the Calendar View

  1. Go to Schedule or Calendar
  2. Click on a date to create a new job
  3. Drag and drop jobs to reschedule
  4. View by day, week, or month

Assigning Team Members

  1. Open the job
  2. Go to the Assignments section
  3. Click Add Assignment
  4. Select team members
  5. Set their scheduled times
  6. Save changes

Assigned team members will:

  • See the job on their mobile app
  • Receive notifications about the job
  • Be able to update job status from the field

Job Status

Jobs move through these statuses:

StatusMeaning
ScheduledJob is planned but not started
In ProgressWork has begun
On HoldWork paused temporarily
CompletedWork finished successfully
CancelledJob was cancelled
