Managing Jobs
Jobs are the work you and your team perform for customers. This guide covers how to create, schedule, and manage jobs in Procured.
Creating a Job
From Scratch
- Go to Jobs > Create Job
- Select a client
- Add job details (title, description, location)
- Set the schedule
- Assign team members
- Click Save
From an Accepted Quote
- Open an accepted quote
- Click Convert to Job
- Review and adjust details as needed
- Set the schedule and assignments
- Click Create Job
Job Details
Each job includes:
- Client - Who the work is for
- Location - Where the work takes place
- Description - What needs to be done
- Schedule - When the work is scheduled
- Assignments - Who is doing the work
- Status - Current state of the job
Scheduling Jobs
Setting a Date and Time
- Open the job
- Click on the schedule section
- Select the date
- Choose start and end times
- Save changes
Using the Calendar View
- Go to Schedule or Calendar
- Click on a date to create a new job
- Drag and drop jobs to reschedule
- View by day, week, or month
Assigning Team Members
- Open the job
- Go to the Assignments section
- Click Add Assignment
- Select team members
- Set their scheduled times
- Save changes
Assigned team members will:
- See the job on their mobile app
- Receive notifications about the job
- Be able to update job status from the field
Job Status
Jobs move through these statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Scheduled | Job is planned but not started |
| In Progress | Work has begun |
| On Hold | Work paused temporarily |
| Completed | Work finished successfully |
| Cancelled | Job was cancelled |
