Creating Quotes
Quotes are estimates you send to potential customers before work begins. This guide covers everything you need to know about creating professional quotes in Procured.
Quote Basics
A quote in Procured includes:
- Client information - Who you're sending the quote to
- Line items - The services or products you're offering
- Pricing - Costs for each item and the total
- Terms - Payment terms, validity period, and conditions
- Notes - Any additional information for the customer
Creating a Quote
From the Dashboard
- Click the New Quote button
- Fill in the quote details
- Save as draft or send immediately
From a Client Profile
- Go to Clients and select a client
- Click Create Quote
- The client information will be pre-filled
Adding Line Items
Line items are the individual services or products on your quote.
Manual Entry
- Click Add Item
- Enter a description
- Set the quantity and unit price
- The line total calculates automatically
Using Saved Items
If you have saved services or products:
- Click Add from Catalog
- Search or browse your items
- Select items to add
- Adjust quantities as needed
Quote Templates
Save time by creating templates for common quote types:
- Create a quote with your standard items
- Click Save as Template
- Name your template
- Use it next time by selecting New from Template
